Please observe the following Terms & Condition
1….On arrival all caravanners and campers must register at the Reception Desk in the Visitor Centre which is open: 9am – 5pm daily. Any visitors anticipating their arrival outside these times must telephone in advance so that special arrangements can be made.
2…. All caravans, motor homes and tents must be of proprietary manufacture and in good condition.
3…. Payment for pitches and electrical hook-ups must be made in advance. On arrival a tag will be issued. This tag must be displayed for inspection in a prominent position for the duration of your stay.
4…. All caravans, motor homes must park on the pitch bearing the number allocated on the registration tag. All tents are to be pitched where directed by the Park staff, usually on the grassed area to the rear of the Toilets / Showers Block.
5…. No caravans, motor homes or tents are to be pitched on the grassed area between the main entrance road and the “Grasscrete” caravan pitches, or on the grassed area adjacent to the toilets/showers block. No other structures are allowed on the caravan pitch site, this includes temporary storage units or sheds or other tents etc.
6…. No tents are to be pitched between caravans or on the caravan area unless the Park staff have given authorisation.
7…. All rubbish must be placed in the bin bags (provided on request) and removed from site on your departure. All pitches are to be kept clean and tidy at all times.
8…. Dogs are welcome at the Country Park. All owners are requested to keep their dogs under strict control at all times during their stay. Dog fouling must be cleaned up by the owner. No Dog kennels are allowed to be placed on site.
9…. The maximum period any person can stay on the site is three weeks per visit (provided that the three weeks are paid in advance), with no return for two weeks with an overall maximum stay of six weeks per year.
A maximum of six visits are allowed per year and one payment = one visit.
Any extensions to these times must be approved by the manager or assistant manager.
10…. We do not accept vans, trucks, commercial vehicles or any type of converted commercial vehicles on site. We may also refuse entry to particulary large caravans that we deem unsuitable (Hobby/LMC, Tabbart, Roma, Wieppert etc) Only one vehicle per tent/caravan is allowed all other vehicles are to be parked in Visitors Centre car park.
11…. All parents or guardians must be responsible for the children in their care.
12…. Ball games, cycling, skateboarding and roller skating is prohibited on the caravan site.
13…. Barbeques are allowed on the park provided that suitable and safe equipment is used in conjunction with a B.S.I. or similar approved fire extinguisher. Open fires and constructed hearths are not permitted. Every effort must be made to avoid scorching the grass and picnic tables and ashes must be disposed of with care when cooled.
14…. All barbeques, parties, music and social gatherings must cease at 11.30pm. However we ask that guests are mindful of family groups staying on the site with very young children during earlier evening hours.
15…. No nuisance shall be caused to any other user of the site by the caravan tenant or camper, his/her family, guests or pets.
16…. The toilets and showers on the site are for the exclusive use of caravanners and campers and residents should close the doors after use to keep those facilities secure.
17…. The washbasins in the toilet areas are for face and hand washing only. Dedicated provision for laundry and dish washing is made in the foyer area and outside to the right of the main door.
18…. All caravans must remain on the pitch allocated unless requested to move by the manager.
19…. No washing line other than clothes driers suspended from a caravan window is allowed.
A washing machine and drier are available in the foyer. Tokens for these machines, costing £2 each, can be purchased at the Reception Desk in the visitor Centre.
20…. A 10mph speed limit around the site must be observed at all times.
21…. The right is reserved to refuse access to the park to any person or persons without giving reason.
